    Hi.

I need to setup a rule in outlook 2003 to send out replies with a message when an email is sent to a mailbox. I currently have a system working whereby when emails are received from both internal and external addresses, a reply is sent and delivered. This is currently working however i do not want internal addresses in the GAL to receive the email.

    Current rules being used:

where my name is in the to and cc box
have the server reply using template xxxx

I have tried using the exception: except of sender is in specified address book and selecting the Gal, however i receive an error saying i cannot combine server rules with client based rules. That makes sense however how can i get around this?

I have tried other rules where if sent to an address don't reply e.g. @domain.com. However this doesn't work

If anyone could advise on this, please let me know. I do not want to use out of office as an alternative as the from recipient states auto reply.
