no success... the image i tried was c2600-i-mz.120-7.bin which needs 20mb dram and 4mb flash - so im guessing it should work right? is there anything to tell me how much flash i have from the ROMMON prompt?

 

oh well nothing can do... if i have tried numerous images an no success it can only point to memory being faulty but WHICH ONE? (im desperate to get this working its a 2611 for crying out loud!!) lol

on a POSITIVE note.. i learnt how to upgrade IOS for the 2600 platform using xmodem - i think i did about 5 different installations!! Changing the confreg to use a higher transfer rate etc etc was a good learning experience!!
