Bruce, a flash, brash and one eyed "iNN it?" lad from ole blighty, had just arrived in Australia.

He was in a Perth pub with some new Aussie mates drinking and trying to pull a bird, bragging that no Aussie "sheila" was safe from his charm.

Also he would occasionally yell "Man United" in peoples faces during a conversation, mostly when getting very plastered....

Well anyway Bruce went from one end of the crowded pub to the other trying it on the local girls.

Everytime he tried they would ask him where he was from:

"Manchester, home of Man united" Bruce would yell...

And everytime they would move away, a couple of them even gagging on their drinks.

Night after night this went on with Bruce getting nowhere, apart from very full, whilst his aussie mates would struggle to keep a straight face in front of him.

Finally in desperation on the last night of his stay he chatted up one of the barmaids.

"Hi love my names Bruce..."

"Less of the charm from you, I know all about you..."

"What do you mean?"

"One of your mates told everyone when you first got here that you are a bigshot manager from that Man United exclusive gay nightclub...."

Only one small criticism.. Bruce is very much an Aussie common name - can't say I know a single Pom Bruce or not one that would admit to it.

Pete would be much better
