ripping tunes

    Got the new llappy and decided to throw some music on it, however when i copy these files that cant be recognised, ie name and artist etc, windows in making a file called unknown artist, with one file with the saved song, track 1 for instance, then it seems to create another folder with nothinhg in it for some reason

    Does anynoe know why this is, ive jusy been deleting files of bugger all etc

    No idea, use audiograbber (freeware) to make them into wavs (hit the penguin icon to use freeDB to look them all up first).

    Then use LAME to encode them as MP3s if you are too poor to buy a giant hard drive. (Don't use AG to encode them directly to mp3 as it will only do it at rubbish low quality)
