Restoring a CA database....??

    If you need to restore a CA database is that an authorative or non-authorative restore on a DC ??

    It would depend whether the CA is a Standalone Root/Subordinate or Enterprise Root/Subordinate. If it is a standalone then that is where AD is not involved, but if it is an Enterprise CA the AD is required.

    I'm sure i've read that it is authoritative, but i just can't remember where.
