Remove GRUB Bootloader

    How can i remove the GRUB bootloader from a machine that has no operating system on. The hard drives are completly formatted so i cant boot into any os to fix it.

    Any Ideas?

    Boot with a Win98SE boot disk and do FDISK /MBR

    Or find a disk wiper - I use 'slate' - old but still good from the Simtel collection.

    I like KillDisk. Used it many times and found it very reliable, and fast. Also, you can do seven-wipe passing with it when you're formatting to erase all trace of data (as far as I'm aware there are NO recovery utilities that can get data back after this many passes)
