    A proposal to you all:

I applaud UKDarkstar and his proposal for a mini GTG in Poole. However, that's an aweful long way to go for those of us in the midlands and I would like suggest that we have another mini GTG in Birmingham on the 20th Dec.

Meet up at the usual place at around 1-2pm. I'm not proposing the usual booze up and meal, just a wee drinkypoos. If others want to stay over and carry on and make a night of it then go fer it.

    Are there any takers???

I know that me and Arroryn are on the list.

Plus you could get some Christmas shopping in as well (ffs now that is sad)

    *bump*

Who have we got popping along then?

Just to confirm for those who may be unsure, we propose to meet in the centre of Birmingham, in a pub called the Newt and Cucumber, which is a short walk just out of New Street Station (literally). It'll be this Saturday.

It's an informal little gathering - they all are - and we'll just be having a few drinks and toasting the memory of David - UCM.

Anyone and everyone is welcome. Don't be intimidated by the fact that an admin, a mod and possibly three gold members will be in attendance

Real life has intervened and we have been begged to help out at a friend's kids' party as a friend is also having to look after an ill father ...

    January it is then.

I suggest a GTG in the new year perhaps somewhere different then B'ham.
