    Hi Guys

Currently at work we have windows 2000 / XP pc's connecting to a Sun Solaris System that runs out internal mainframe

We have some of these pc's basically running as terminals but what i want to do is replace them with linux as the operating system and connect these instead

What i want to know is what software do you use to connect to the Sun box (needs to be wyse60) presently using Dynamic Connect from IBM

Also is it possible to restrict the desktop the same as you canin windows with policies ?

Sorry if these questions are a bit simple but when it comes to Linux so am i ...:blink

    Cheers in advance

    Mick

I'm learning Linux but I don't know jack about Sun Solarius. I'd have expected Ryan to have jumped in here by now. Maybe you could find out where he's hiding and PM the fellow. See if he has an opinion.
