RAMBUS RDRAM

    Can someone please shed light on these types of RAM? not only are they darn expensive but how do you know the Mobo you bought actually supports if it does not state it? and yes I know they come in pairs....

    its not a case of wether or not the motherboard supports it
    its not a feature
    either the motherboard takes RDRAM
    or the motherboard takes DDR ram
    they are different sizes, and you wont find boards that take boht
    just look at the board you are buyings specifications before you buy it

    I am at my wits end with this...can someone give a rough idea as to which manufacturers of Mobos (besides Intel) that do RDRAM?

    just out of curiosity
    did you not check the major mobo manufacturers websites like nugget did? they will all have lists like this
    but not many will make RDRAM products, even intel has moved toward DDR now anyway
