    you need DDR2 533MHz or 667MHz or 400MHz. I would go for 2 x 1GB 667MHz

667 is the fastest that mobo will take, if you need more then go for 2 x 2GB but go for 533MHz. The mobo is Micro ATX so it only has two slots so there isn't much room for upgrading.

do you have a motherboard manual? It will tell you in there.

You may or may not need a bios update to accept those higher ram speeds as the basic mobo only accepts 667 as the highest. I will have a look at foxcon website.

Generally fitting faster memory won't materially change the speed of the machine, and may make it more flaky.

I'd try and match what is there already.

yes thats the right one and yes i see it says only 667MHz so according to Foxconn i can only upgrade to max 4GB 667MHz?
What would happen if i installed for example 800MHz ram?
    Would it not run it?

If you want to speed the system up then go for a faster cpu. If you went for faster ram then the ram would operate at the max speed the motherboard could handle, but it could also make the system unstable. If your system can't take 800MHz then there is no need in doing it.

Hmm seems your right again GBL!
I am starting to come to the conclusion that my mobo sucks!!
If i could go back in time knowing what i know now i would build my own system instead of going to pc world!!

Thanx for your time mate appreciate it.
