    Hi,

Can anybody tell me where Firefox stores its proxy settings? For example, is it in a configuration file in the user's profile or are they stored in the registery? The reason I'd like to know is that I'm trying to find a way of forcing Firefox users at my place of work to automatically connect to our proxy server once they fire-up the browser.

If you also know of an automated way of keeping these up to date I'd be grateful if you would let me know how.

    Thanks in advance,

    - Alex

You can point the browser to a proxy configuration file on the network by using the 'Automatic Proxy Configuration URL'.

I'm not sure how you'd manage this without configuring the option on each machine.

Have you tried the Mozilla Firefox support pages?
