    Hi friends,

I am looking for a secure and robust file transfer web service. I am handling a sales force which is stationed at different locations and is frequently moving. They need to upload there activity reports frequently to our servers. So I am looking for an easy to use secure and robust file transfer web service which can be used by my sales force for their needs.

    Thanks & Warm Regards.

    Hi

    I've used these guys before

    http://www.clientchannel.com/

They did the trick, plus allow you to use it free for 14 days. Not the easiest interface to work with though, I must admit, but it did wht I wanted it to do.

We use a system called cuteFTP www.cuteftp.com to do ftp transfers. We have our customers upload their work to a company that allocate us space called wamnet, we then use cuteftp to transfer those pages to our system.

Wamnet www.wamnet.com charge varying amounts according to the space you need.

There is also a service called www.yousendit.com The service is free up to 100 MB but can be expanded up to 2 GB of data. The only thing you need is a e-mail-address. They also provide secure channels.

Another vote for Yousendit. I have a client that has used it for years and seems to do the job well.

You can integrate the yousendit interface into you own website too.

Hi, I recently got a free platform independent file transfer application from Google search engine called *Spam*. It supports all major file transfer protocols including FTP/S, SFTP and WebDAV/S. url=spam spam spam is available both as a web based service requiring no software installation, and as a downloadable application that you can install locally. Hope this will work out for you.
    Good luck!

This doesn't half sound like spam, especially when you then see the following from Lucy_Clarkson:

If you take the rest of the posts out of the equation, it's as if they're doing a TV commercial...

Could be wrong... apologies to the two ladies if I am...
