    Q1.

NTFS uses a what type of file table?

    a. FAT
    b. MFT
    c. MBR
    d. FTT

Master File Table is used instead of File Allocation Table

    Q2

When i start up Windows, i get an error message saying

which OS is this referring to?

    a. ME
    b. XP
    c. 98
    d. 2000

ha! expected only one answer! Well theres two!
NTLDR only applies to the NT family.

    Q3.

My printer spooler service has stopped, what command in DOS do i type?

    a. start spooler service
    b. net start spooler
    c. start spooler/s
    d. net spooler/s

    DOS Commands

    To start a service

    Code:
    net start "service"
    To end a service

    Code:
    net stop "service"
Where i have typed "service", you type the service that is required, in this example, the service is spooler. EDIT: BTW: You dont put the " " in.

Its recommended that you should stop a service, before starting the service, even though you know that its stopped already...

Would like to know why though... Cheers

Well Done to those who answered them correctly...

    More Quez soon...

From my experience of the exams, CompTIA *always* says there is more than one answer on such questions!

It is amazingly easy to miss this though when you are under stress in the exam!

    Just a thought.
