You are preparing to conduct a department wide cloning task to install Windows XP. Which Windows tool is used to prepare the reference computer for cloning?

    A) Ghost

    B) MS Back-up

    C) Install.EXE

    D) Sysprep

[HIDE]Answer = D Sysprep prepares a computer for cloning by a third party application such as Norton Ghost. Basically it removes the unique identifiers such as SID (security identifiers) etc. A must if you are using the domain model.[/HIDE]

In the real world I would do:

    [HIDE]A) Ghost[/HIDE] but that's not a MS solution.

So I guess I'll go with:

    [HIDE]D) Sysprep[/HIDE] :D
