PSU fun time...

Some friends own a bar and they have a computer there. It's been going wonky, so I told them I'd take a look.
Result = PSU's bad

Bought them a new PSU, runs like a dream now.

At the same time, another person told me about BSOD's on his rig. I told him I'd take a look.
Result = Possibly another PSU issue

The dude has some nice components in the PC, an on-line calculator shows that they may draw up to 500 watts under load, but he has a 550 watt PSU (not even rated for 80+). Gonna have to yank out one of my 1000 watts from another PC and run a few tests...
