Psp stuff

    Ok i know this is a computer forum but im sure someone may have a psp besides me.

    Does anyone know how to get my usb data cable to act as a power supply/ charger.

    My charger has just gone bust and the shops are closed, plus im skint till next week, ive just got a new game and ive started playing it bu now i cant i need help please

    it either is or it isnt! My mobile phone's data transfer cable is USB and one of the perks of it is that it charges it using USB so either they must have a cable with USB that will charge or they wont. I advise dont go sticking things that arent meant to go into it as it will void any warranty you may have. 8)

    not exactly! If it isnt a power cable dont even try! if you KNOW it is then give it a shot!:biggrin

    I know you can get usb cables with the extra bit so you can charge it etc, but as im skint i cant do much lol

    Just as my team were starting to turn things around as well lol

    Just to answer the question, you can't use a straight USB lead to charge your PSP. There are USB charger leads available and the have 2 seperate connections on them. 1 is a mini USB for data transfer and the other is a plug for the power connector. 2 seperate ports on the PSP.
