Problems with Outlook Express

    Hi Guys

    I have a user who is sending mails through Outlook Express. After sending a test mail to myself from her PC the mail just sits in her inbox, but I receive the mail multiple times untill the mail is manually deleted from her outbox.

    Any ideas?

    This sounds like it might be a problem with her ISP.

    First check the headers of the mails you receive, and also look to see if there are any errors being hidden away by OE.

    I have seen this is where OE was on a compromised machine some time back, so try debugging and/or patching the PC as appropriate.

    Also it is possible that the sent items folder cannot handle any more items. You may have to do a sanity check on the affected sending PC to make sure that OE is not over say 2Gb in total for the various file items.
