Right ive got a printer connected to my server and the server is sharing it. Is there a way that i could get a computer that is not on the domain to print. Currently when i try and print then it says "Printer Cannot Be Contacted" i have to go into My Network Places then click on the Server then it asks for a user and password for the computer. So how can i stop this

Have you tried installing it as a network printer on the client?

Hmmm XP home, network functionality is limited hence you can't join the domain.

Have you got a user account on your domain controller with the same username and password as the one on the XP home box? If not try doing that.

It should work, as I have shared printers to non domain members like this.
