Been offered by the company I work for to do the PRINCE2 course in Feb. I don't have much experience of Project Management but want to buy a good book on it to help supplement the course. Any recommendations or should I just opt for this book?

You should normally get everything you need on the course, official book, sample papers etc.
I also used the Dummies book to complement it as it can be dry reading.

I did ITIL Foundation and found that hard going just staying awake doing self study. I suppose I'm after some pre course reading. I must be mad as I'm heavily studying my VCP at present as well so timing is a little off but couldn't pass the opportunity up as I've wanted to do PRINCE2 for years.

I did Prince2 3 years ago - for foundation I used the CBT from ILX which was very good. I don't think I could have passed it by using the Prince2 manual - it's very dry.
I attended a two day crash course and practicioner exam at ILX and passed. :p

Really needs to be a book as I'm travelling to Reading to do the course and want to read on the train as I have 5+ hours to kill.
