I'm not entirely sure but the give away could be in the name.

Prep as in peparing for the exam by being very detailed and cram for cramming short detailed explanations before the exam.

I could be wrong but thats just a guess :D

I had the exam cram PDFs for the A+ and there were a few detailed paragraphs but also a lot of bullet points.

I have always used MS Press Books, for the exams that I have taken so far.

But would have to agree with GBL, that the answer is probably in the title.

Exam Cram contains just the bare essentials. Exam Prep goes into things in a bit more detail.

I agree its in the name. You make cram sheets to study for your exam, and take them to your exam so you can read over them before you go in. Its just crammed information, in bullet points, small notes etc on a piece of paper.

I make a cram sheet up for every exam, just an A4 bit of paper and scribble small notes on it and I squash it all in so it just looks like a big horrible mess that only I can understand :D

You can get cram sheets from ProProfs. Many people make them up and post them on the forums. They can be really helpful.

Prep is just preperation, studying over materials again (books etc). As someone mentioned, its in more detail then cramming.
