It all depends on how spurs play, if they get their passing game going they can cut through most teams with ease. Although since Harry has taken over we seem to be conceading alot less goals but it has also stopped us getting forward as much. Last season scoring 2-3 goals a games was fairly common but this season games have been more 0-0, 1-0, 2-1 with the majority of games we have lost so far have been only by 1 goal bar i think 2 (portsmouth and udinese 2-0 each iirc). As its a london derby i'm going to guess 1-1 :)

    Charlton are doing well...

On the other hand, Barca destroyed Valencia and the scum got beaten 4-3 by Sevilla, so at least that's working out OK :biggrin

Ah I'd forgotten to see how that game finished off. Turned off at half time when they were 1 - 3 down and looking royally sorry for themselves. Long may it continue :)

I've got a mate in this place who is Charlton through and through, he's not happy at all at the moment Lol. Its a shame because it wasn't long ago Charlton were a half decent team in the Premier...

Being a betting man, I think its going to be a 2-1 either way, hopefully to the mighty Spurs though.. :)

Looking forward to the Champ League this week as well, i'll get a couple of those accumulators on for that n all.

... and for that bet - odds of about 150-1 haha. :)

I usually do one like that, stick a pound or two on, it came in a while back and scooped about 300 quid Lol.

I think I have a gambling problem, help..!

lol. I think that too, but I'm so rarely up the pub these days that putting on a £5 bet at home whilst watching the footy is a lot cheaper than going to the pub, drinking 10 pints and getting a little vocal whilst watching the footy.

Justification being, £5 for a flutter at home, or £40 to act like an arse up the pub.

You're only young once, and you can't spend it when you're dead. When I have dependants, I'll change my way of thinking. But for now - how harmful is a fiver a week?

that being said, the amount I've tried to rambling-ly justify myself there leads me to think I may in fact have a problem too :ohmy  :biggrin

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem...

Lol. I agree totally though. I actually find it quite relaxing/enjoyable watching the results roll in when I've got a bet riding on the result(s).

I usually do £20 a week but im sure I have alot less to pay for then yourself. All I pay out each month is a bit of rent to my parents, a phone bill and £500 off my car. God help me when I move out into the "real world". :twisted

The site I suggested to you Arroryn actually keeps track of the deposits and withdrawals on the card you use on it, so you can keep track over weeks/months to how much your winning / losing, always handy! (or depressing Lol)

I was over Upton Park in the "posh seats" with the West Ham lot from work. They wasnt pleased, but I was, haha.

There was a point at the end there where it was rather going to be 1-1, or 2-0 Spurs. Really pleased we got that 2nd goal and killed the game rather then letting West Ham camp in our half for the last 5.

Roll on Champs League tonight. :)

What did people think to the Chelsea game?

Inparticular Scolari?... i mean, who doesnt play Drogba? Hes a world clas player... i know Anelka has been scoring goals of recent but Drogba would be in my team every week.

I watched the 1st half before I had football myself, and then the highlights... Cluj have proved to be no pushover but i was suprised how much posession they had, away from home... their goal was pure class too!!

Again im just unsure what to think about Scolari, hes a good manager of course... but I feel Chelsea are jus inconsistant sometimes... losing at home to an even more inconsistant Arsenal!? I dont think anyone will be able to improve on what Mourinho acheived at the bridge for a long time... seems Chelsea are Jinxed when it comes to the Champions League!

On a brighter note, whos going to be cheering on Derby in the cup when they face Man U, haha... I am a Derby fan so no harsh comments please, i already know how rubbish we are! :)
