    Hi I have a powerconnect 6248 and created three vlans V2 V3 V4

I needed port 45 to see both vlan3 and vlan4

I followed dells guide and made the port a general port which then allowed me to make the port a member of both vlan3 and Vlan4

but the server patched into this port cannot ping the other vlan

    am i missing something?

Is there a log file on the device?

Also do you need to configure a ACL?
