    Hi All

Does anyone have an opinion on POST cards i'm looking to add one to my toolkit, does spending more money always guarantee a better card, how effective are they, and should I save my money instead and stick to manual troubleshooting :hhhmmm

    Thanks in advance Steve :thumbleft

They can be really useful, and depending on how often you will be trouble shooting problems, should definately be added to your toolkit.

As Si said they are handy when a computer won't boot, or give you a beep. The last PC i went to look at that wouldn't boot actually told me the problem! It said "ATI card has power fault". That is what i call cool. MSI boards are good!
    Have a look on e-bay....
I found one on here but they won't give me a price via e-mail. They want to phone my house to discuss it. I said i can see how good it is and they have a very good reputation i just want a price!

I've just bought this one - good price - quick service. As it only arrived yesterday I haven't had a moment to try it out.

It has a 'history' function as well as purporting to measure the bus speed.

There is another one available here but I havn't been able so far to get them on the phone to talk about it.

    Harry.
