    Well done on completing it!!

I've been properly lazy recently - haven't run in over a week now..... must get back into the practice again!

Good to see most people working in IT get some exercise done, just past three days did over 8+ miles on a V fit bike on full gear. I was sweating like crazy for 20 to 25 plus minutes each and did so 30 press ups to finish.

I did feel good afterward s, just need to keep this up now:)

Yeah, I'm in the "want to keep it up but no time" mode at the moment - I may get 30 mins at some point to myself..... hopefully Saturday! If I'm lucky!!!

On Sunday, I ran for 3 1/2 miles, then hopped on a virtual bike for another 7 1/2 miles.

It is... it gets difficult to pedal when you hit a hill, and you have to downshift.

Only complaint is that I don't think my rec center has paid the money to Expresso to enable the more advanced features, where you can log in and have it record your stats.

Went for a 28 minute run yesterday, and a 102 minute run today - quite chilly, but nice.
Found that, toward the end of today's run, my bum really ached and then I couldn't fully control my legs (they were really heavy and I had to walk for about 5 minutes, then finish with a sprint at the end) so guessing it was quite demanding on the body. Will rest for the next couple of days and then have another go on Friday.

    Certainly does :)

I have to walk more than I run still, and when I 'run' I use the term loosely - only around 7k/ph.

Got to ease the ol' cardio into it gently

I definitely need to get back into it - the g/f father is currently in hospital after having a stroke about 2 weeks ago, and with hosting our first Xmas in our place, I haven't even managed to find time to revise or run.... feeling bad about both!

Trip - brisk walking - definitely allowed! :D

Perhaps a brisk walk while reading a tech book is the way forward? :biggrin

I'd probably walk into a lamp post or something.

Actually, part of the reason I walk during my lunch is to get away from the computer for awhile and actually look into the distance. It's just above freezing out, but I've got a good coat and once I work up a head of steam, I'm warm enough. At 6' 3", I have a long stride and can walk pretty quickly.

I walk around the university, since it sits right on the river. I thought this would be a particularly good time to go in that direction, since it's winter break and all the students have gone, but there's some sort of (American) football game going on today, and the place was hip deep with sports fans and tailgate party people.
