Microsoft are not the first company to bend the rules and certainly won’t be the last.

As for businesses having a moral and ethical obligation I agree when it comes to how a company treats its employees but bending the rules when it comes to competing with other companies is just part of life. :ohmy

So businessmen are justified in leaving ethics at the door on the way into work? They can cheat, lie, steal, run over anybody they wish and it's just carte blanche because it's at work????

So you’re saying its better to get along with your competitors and reduce potential profits? :blink

Who says you have to screw your fellow businessmen over to succeed? Why is that a must to succeed in business?

Take a look at 3M from Minnesota here in the states. They run an ethical business and are very successful. They are a multi-national conglomerate.

Take a look at Fruehauf. When the founder was alive and running the business they made the vast majority of semi trailers here in the US for several decades. The man ran his business by Christian principles. He didn't lie, he didn't cheat, he didn't take advantage of anyone, and he died a multimillionaire.... When he died, the people running the business changed their business practices and Fruehauf semi trailers are rarely seen on US highways anymore....

It is a complete fabrication that businesses have to be unethical to succeed....
