Phew ! Interview again at last !

    Well I applied for an IT manager job with a company in the food sector today. The agency didn't know squat about the BCS and my CITP so I had to enlighten them and they confirmed my CV had been sent over at lunchtime.

    To my surprise they've rung tonight to say the company was impressed with my CV and wants to see me Friday afternoon for an interview ! :biggrin

    Fingers crossed ! I'll keep you posted.

    Bit depressing though, having to explain your Chartered status. There'd be an outcry if that happened in most other industries. *sigh* oh for the love of being in IT...

    Well interview went well ! :biggrin

    1hr 20 mins :eek:

    Was with current IT Manager, MD and Marketing Director.

    They seemed impressed with my business knowledge of applying IT, hope I did enough to impress on a technical front.

    They have interviewed 2 already this week and 1 more to go on Monday.

    Parting comment from MD was that if they could afford it they would employ me and the other 2 seen this week so that sounds promising.

    Fingers (and toes!) crossed now ! :biggrin
