I find it interesting that 100% of us so far use our PCs for listening to music nowadays.

I can highly recommend MCE 2005 for this, as you can use a remote and see the really excellent Media Centre GUI from a distance. Everyone is knocked out by MCE even the dreaded iMac fraternity 8)

Oh and I can highly recommend the Creative Inspire® 2.1 25002.1 speaker system, for the money they are the dogs! They sound better than my Altec Lancing jobbies which cost twice the price.

Perhaps a better question would have been what do you NOT use your PC for?

Aaa - Men to that Pete! I've got Creative surround sound and with Wide screen TFT it's better than being in the cinema. Although I do miss the annoying person who talks all the way through the film and then talks about how crap the end was. (Not!!!):p

Well my friend, you can slightly re-create that scenario by having a missus who decides to make a cup of tea halfway through then asks a hundred questions when she gets back, who's phone continually bleeps with text messsages, before falling asleep on your shoulder and waking up as the credits roll.

Wouldn't have it any other way though, bless her:oops:

funny you should mention this. ive just ordered a set of components to build myself for a new system, coming to a whopping £954 ex vat. although i have to say... im not actually paying that even though its for me.

You know, it would have been easier to ask me what i DONT use my systems for.
