    I came accross this site today, dont know how secure it is but i thought i would let people know about it..

    It tells you how long it would take to crack your passwords......

    My old password that I used to use would take 417 years to crack :D I always mix up my passwords with numbers and characters.

    My range of passwords are between 252 days and 417 years to crack.

    By adding a 1 to the end of my password it goes from 15,000 years to 1 billion, weird :blink

    I have managed to max it out to 8 octillion years with a 38 character password :)

    Course if you had access to a z800 or later IBM mainframe with a good few MIPS under its belt running SUSE and John the Ripper............ not that I've tried such a thing

    It says about 2 trillion years for mine, but I doubt the accuracy of it. Maybe it's just because of the length of the password (18 characters) but it doesn't contain any symbols so it's not as secure as it could be. I'd hate to see what someone could do to my bank accounts with 2 trillion years of net interest in there.
