Does anyone know the password recovery procedure for 3550 catalyst switch ?

I nicked a spare 3550 switch from my mate's room and I'm trying to rig it up. Unfortunately, he's got his password all over it. So I rang him up (in Holland) and asked him for his password and he said he couldn't remember it. So now I'm stuck.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I've tried the control break thing and the o/r 0x2142 thing. No dice.
