    Hi Guy's,

I have a W2k3 server, clean install, which I have promoted to a DC.

Prior to it being a DC I could hapilly use a 6 or 7 character password of my choosing.

After promotion to a DC whan I try and create a new (domain) user the 'password does not meet complextiy requirements' message appears. The same happens if I try to change the Administrator password.

Ok, So I could meet the reqiurements using a password of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, etc. But I don't want to.

I have been into the default domain GPO and set all of the password complexity requirements as 'Not Defined' but the error message still comes up.

    Any ideas? :blink
