    I took my A+ 220-701 and passed today, wicked. Was a little concerned though as my book hadn't told me the voltages memory needed or what a KVM switch was. there were a few other bits i wasn't aware of either but i won't divulgethrough fear of getting it taken away. wish i'd researched what book to buy before doing so. Let that be a lesson.

    i used comptia a+ for dummies and watched prof messer. should have got meyers by all accounts but i didn't know of that book then. The main thing is i knew enough to pass so it's all good.

    Congratulations! It's very inspiring to see the posts when folks pass the exams. And thanks for mentioning the business about the books. I'm using the For Dummies book, but a friend advised me to purchase a second book, for both cross referencing purposes, AND in case one book has info the other doesn't. Meyers is horribly pricey here in the U.S. But from everything I hear, it's the best so...
    Anyway...Congrats again!

    You could not have said that better mate. Some of the questions that I had in my exam were not mentioned in my book. To anyone reading this...DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

    I studied more different books and related sources before taking exam.
