Passed 216 today and I must say that this exam is hard, the first 20 or so questions blew me away all on IPsec related stuff. This exam really makes you earn the pass, I finished with 6 mins left on the clock and another guy who was also taking it went to the time limit. I was sure I had failed but then I've thought that about all my other exams and have never failed, perhaps I should have more belief in my knowledge. It's all these job rejections!!

Anyway I'm gonna chill for a couple of days before I start on 217

Well done Mark. I reckon 217 and 219 are the most interesting so you'll hopefully enjoy them.

Strange, everyone seems to be doing 217 then 219, how come hardly anyone does 218?

    Hi John

IMHO it is the way to go! 219 is the application 217 so why not get them both out of the way before thinking about 218.

I have never been a fan of the 218 being used as an elective on the full MCSE - but in the W2K3 route it is normal. My thoughts are the MCSA is a great qualification in its own right but if you are an MCSE with 3 electives that don't include the 218 it shows a wider range of skills.
