I sat my Security+ exam this afternoon after studying for just over 2 weeks. Got a pass with 855!

Was determined I'd failed at a couple points where some questions really stumped me especially when it was question number 1! Very disheartening to have the confidence sucked right out of you!

I used the Syngress 3rd Ed and 2 different practice tests; Boson and Preplogic. Have already got my MCITP SA Press Book pack and am going to get stuck in tomorrow (having a well deserved night off tonight!).

Also; not sure if this is PearsonVUE and MS only but since when did the feedback questions at the end happen before you get your result? When I did my A+ and N+ the optional feedback came after it told you your result (Prometric), when I did the MS it came before the exam (Prometric) and on the S+ (PearsonVUE) it came before my result. Hardly paid attention as I wanted to know if I'd failed!

Congrats on the pass, good to hear about the Syngress book, just about to start on that one myself with the intention of sitting the exam late Nov/early Dec. (I've covered most of the topics but like fully understanding / letting stuff sink in, thick skull I think).

Edit: Yeah, noticed the date afterwards, I'm late on the grats but it's topic relevant to me :)
