I passed my first MS exam earlier this week, I'm over the moon [IMG]

Took me 3 months working my way through the following:-

Pluralsight video training by Tony Northup
CBT Nuggets video training by Anthony Sequeira
MS exam reference 70-687 - Configuring Windows 8 Book (Lost track of how many times I referred back to this)
Transender practice tests (Very tough but great explanations and reference links)
    Microsoft Virtual Academy
Lots of labbing: whereby I installed Windows 8 Ent from the ground up multiple times, then went onto working my way through EFS, Bitlocker, Bitlocker to go etc etc

Certainly wasn't any easy exam in comparison to the other exams I have taken thus far and I could tell it was expected that you knew the finer details, be warned.

Onwards to 70-688 which I fear will be an even steeper curve [IMG], wish me luck!

Many thanks for all the kind words.

Juelz have a read through this post, I touch on my background their.
I wonder if I am asking to much of myself in wanting to sit 70-688 at the end of Sept?

70-687 had 7 domain objectives each of which featured between 15-20% on the exam, 70-688 has only 3, however each domain objectives this time around features 30-40% on the exam so need to read more thoroughly into each.

    Hi,
Actually been through this vid already, is quite informative and does touch on a few 70-688 objectives which I intend to go over in the coming weeks, im probably asking myself what an exam with fewer objectives and weighted on the finer details will be like. Hmmmm...

It will be harder, it is after all supposed to be (the idea of the latter exam numbers is always to take material from the previous exam and improve on it.

I admit to not having done the Windows 8 exams but I found the second part of my Windows 7 exams (the one to give me my MCITP in Windows 7) to be harder, it also expected a much greater appreciation of the Enterprise.
