I practiced a lot on the Boson and Netsim Sims plus read books and took the ICND class. It is not an easy test by any means.

Subnet Tutor by Innovative Software Concepts really helped me with subnetting (And still is a valuable practice tool).

Don't expect to pass on your 1st attempt. Use that as a guide on how much more studying you need to do.

 

Be advised - revealing any information about the contents of the exam (including what types of questions you saw and how many simulations are on the exam) is a violation of your Cisco Confidentiality Agreement. Yeah, it's restrictive, but that's how Cisco maintains the integrity and worth of their certification programs. Might want to edit your post, just in case.

 

Blimey BBM, are they that strict? To me (who hasn't studied the CCNA) it only looks like NetEyeBall has posted stuff that is (or should be) freely available anyway such as topics covered and the style of questions.

Read it for yourself... especially Section 3.1 (bolding added by me for emphasis):

See? They don't even allow you to state how many questions you got on the exam.

WildcatDude on CertCities actually called and e-mailed Cisco to see if it was OK to post the CCNA passing score, and they said that information violates the Confidentiality Agreement (note - the passing score for the CCNA exam is NOT listed on Cisco's Web site). That's pretty hardcore... but I respect their attempts to maintain the integrity of the exam.

 

Better safe than sorry, my friend... especially where your career's certifications are involved, right?
