How did you find the exam? Did CBTNuggets and the MS book coer the questions well?

 

How to answer and not violate the NDA lol

Was a bit of a shock with the layout for the first few questions, usual multichoice questions in general, got through it pretty quickly, questions were fairly easy to follow and answer.

Id recommend technet on top of those 2 sources, but I from think the questions I got, most areas to study were covered well, some others experience relied on experience, and some things id never had to do in real life before (and some facts id annoyingly forgotten!).

You just have to commit yourself to a set amount of time per night, and go somewhere where there are no distractions, if that means turning off the wireless router then so be it.

You could give yourself some pyschological reinforcement by printing out a copy of someone elses cert and scribble your name over the top, then in moments of low motivation just think of the real one at the end of it all.

Heh, I could actually give myself certificates for learning / revising. I keep a stock of them for my daughter to re-enforce good behaviour. .

Is it just mine or did you have an issue with the practice exercises not being found on the disc? It's a right pain in the arse. The Practice Exercises, especially the ones that were in the first couple of chapters were nowhere to be found on my disc or install files.

I kinda feel a little let down by this. It seems a little wrong to me that something this important would be incomplete.

 

I've got this in 4 weeks time. I'm using the Sybex book which covers both 70-685 and 70-686 exams. Hopefully that and Technet will be enough as well as my hands on with Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2.
