    I passed with 833/1000 :slidedrin

    I now have to decide what direction and exams to take next.

    Well... you scored an 833. As to whether or not it is out of 1000 is a matter of some debate, as each exam is different, and Microsoft doesn't reveal the maximum score for each exam.

    In any case, the important part is that you passed the exam. Congrats! :)

    Well done

    I used to think you got score in 50s, 25s and maybe 100s for questions but after getting a score that ended in 3 I decided not to try and think about how its scored aslong as I pass thats the main thing.

    Congrats Beerbaron.

    There was an article quoted on a thread here where some MS exam head honcho explained that the only three marks that were the same in all exams were 100% right=1000, 100% wrong=0 and pass>=700.
    I'm sure I've pointed that out to you before BM. I think you even thanked me for bringing it to your attention.
    I'd blame your forgetfulness on age if I wasn't older than you :cry:

    I guess I keep thinking back to the days of the "switchover". :oops: Back then, when the passing scores were first "normalized" to 700, the max score could be less than or greater than 1000... even saw one myself!

    The 70-682 is the 70-680 & the 70-685 compressed into 1 exam for the purposes of upgrading the MCDST and/or the MCITP: EST.

    Use the study resources for those two exams for the 70-682.
