Glad to say I finally sat & passed my 70-680 yesterday :D

I only got 50 points over the pass mark but I'm told a pass is a pass :/

Couldn't tell how long I have spent studying for this, as I got the books probably a year ago but didn't get my act together and consistently study for it until recent months

    Resources used:
    MS Press Book
    Pearson Exam Cram
Sybex MCTS Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration

    Professor Messer's videos

Practice questions on the above books and also a 30 day subscription to MeasureUp

My advice to anyone waiting to sit the exam: Lab, lab, lab! to make sure you know your stuff... oh and this may differ for the more experienced but use multiple sources to get your study info. Despite having 3 books to refer to, when doing the practice exams I still found I was been asked on whole chunks of information that weren't in any of my 3 books and needed looking up on Technet/Google

Now for a day or 2 off and then to crack on with 70-685 and a better understanding of how prepared I need to be

    Congratulations on passing (:

And yes a pass is a pass, that's all that matters to get the qualification.

    Thanks all :)

I'm now suddenly surprised how little books and commercial training materials there are for the 685 compared to the 680. This next one could be tough
