Barely scraped it (727) but a pass is a pass.
I got 50 questions and took around 45 minutes.
There's a little survey at the start asking me to define how well I thought I knew each domain. Silly MS, that's why I'm there, to find out how much I know on each topic.

Top exam tip: Don't drink a bucket of Jack Daniel's the night before.

Materials used:
Sybex: Save your money.
MSPress: I can see why it's considered the best of a bad bunch.
Boson practice exams: I thought these were too difficult, until I took the exam.

I'm starting a new job tomorrow in an XP environment so I'm not sure where to go next. Possibly the Sec+ or the 70-270.

hmm, if it's between 70-270 and Security+, i would go with the latter, as looking from MCSA/MCSE prospective, u already got your client exam covered up.

Congrats on passing! I'm glad our ExSim Max product was useful for you! From what you say, I'm guessing you found it to be a pretty accurate indicator of how well you'd do on the real thing?

 

Yes and no. The depth part was right, but the width could do with a bit of work; there's a few questions which are just variations on the same theme and they don't reflect the sheer width of knowledge required to pass. Overall though I would have to say yes since I just scraped a pass after doing every single question over the weekend, and just scraped a pass in the real thing.
