    ...with a score of 850.

I was hoping to complete the exam in 10 weeks, from picking up the MS Press book to taking the exam, but I went 2 weeks over as I just didn't feel completely ready. I dedicated 2-3 hours a night during the week and 4-5 hours Saturday and Sunday to study, which as well as working full time and Saturday was a tough task!

I used the 70-642 MS Press book and CBT Nuggets as my primary study tools, as well as a huge amount of TechNet to fill in the gaps. I find myself using TechNet more and more with each exam that goes by. I also spent 3-4 weeks of my study time in my home lab, which I feel is essential to fully understanding and taking in all of the content.

Next up is the 70-646 which will complete the MCSA 2008. 8)

    Congrats! That's some work schedule.

I've been at the 640 for a while now , taking a big longer than I thought but some extra work/home commitments have come into play.

I've heard a lot of people mention the CBT Nuggets, are they as good as people make out?! Currently I'm using the press book, TechNet and lab.

Good to hear that working full time and studying can be done as that's what I'm attempting!

    Thanks guys! 8)

greenstarthree - I am a big fan of CBT Nuggets, I have used them for most of my exams and would recommend them to anyone. I normally go through them after I have done my first pass of the MS Press book to re-enforce the material and also highlight any areas that I need to re-read and/or go into more detail with on TechNet etc.

On the working full time and studying front, it is difficult but it can be done. I do find I have to pretty much dedicate all my free time to studying, and I normally grow a huge beard and don't surface for 2-3 months, but it works.
