I passed this exam today with a score of 966, by far my highest score to date!! I must admit that i found this exam pretty easy and expected it to be more of a challenge than it was!
There were four simulations and apart from 1 of them which took me about 10 mins to figure out what i was supposed to do, they were all very simple and required little work.
Quite a lot of questions on site replication and GPO's!!
Has anyone else sat this exam?Would be interested to hear your thoughts on this exam!! :D

Congrats Ally, you did really well.

The only reason it seemed easy to you is that you had studied well for it. You earned the pass, and your score reflects that 8)

Thanks people!Had a few beers to celebrate last night! The only advice i can give is to study (duhh) and ul be fine on this exam.
Know ur GPO inheritance, no override etc, software installation thru GPO and AD replication. I also had a couple of questions relating to SUS again!!!
Active directory is something i jus seemed to pick up fairly easily which i think was reflected in my score. Sometimes it happens this way and sometimes some topics seem to take forever to make sense.
Well thanks again, im off to begin study for 293 :D

Well done on the pass and superb score! I see the last entry to this thread was back in January, but only just seen it.

I took this exam in the first week of Jan this year - literally just as it was changing to its current format (prior to then the four sims weren't there).

As many of you may have read, Microsoft have now included sim questions in all the core exams for MCSA/MCSE 2003 track. To accommodate this however, a software update is needed at some of the testing centres nationwide, and this is taking time to roll out. My local centre only discovered this when they tried to load the 294 exam for me and it didn't work.
