i passed my 272 exam yesterday to get my MCDST title, i scored 809.

I decided to start my MCSA training and felt the 270 would be the best one to start with but when i looked over the book its all the stuff i have just done, which i found to be strange as the whole reason why i done the MCDST was to get my first certs and use it as an elective for my MCSA

I'm currently studying for my 272, any tips would be most welcome.

I passed my 70-271 on the 15th, got the cert bug and am currently going like the clappers through my 272 material.

I get the feeling that the 271 and 272 have quite a few similarities so thought i'd better get the studying done asap so as not to forget too much (as i don't currently work in IT)

In 270 you will look at how XP "lives" in a domain enviroment and you will need more knowledge of Active Directory for this exam than MCDST.

Thanks everyone, was out in the town last night and now am paying the price.


I used Microsoft 70-272 Book 1st edition (had loads of sp2 exp), CBT Nuggets, and Transcender exam software, there wasn't much that came up that i shouldn't have known and would recommend these books although i dont think the Microsoft 1st edition employed proofreaders as theres some crazy mistakes, but this adds a little bit of fun to the studying lol
