I studied for about two weeks prior to taking the exam and eeked out a passing score... I had 49 questions. If I had known better prior to ordering my study book I would have got a better book; but it is what it is. I was strongest in the aspects I felt I would be and was weakest in the area I asked about in another thread(Access to Resources).

70-272 will be upcoming either next week or the week after.

Also, a question(s): this is my first MS test so I have no MS ID. Are they supposed to e-mail me that info and how long does it normally take? And if I fail to receive said info who do I contact? Does passing 70-271 qualify for MCP or does it require both 70-271 and 70-272? Thanks.

You should recieve an email from Microsoft to the email address you used when you registered with Prometric. Should probably take around a weekish and you can apply to recieve your MCP pack which will take around a further six weeks to arrive.

Thanks for the congrats, guys! Just got my MS ID in the e-mail this morning and sent away for the welcome kit. Don't know what I'll do with it but since it's "free" might as well have it.

 

It will contain your certificate, didn't you want that then?
