If you do well with the measureup practices with the mspress book, you will be suprised as IMO the Measureup practices were harder. Makesure you know the book inside out, as you could be asked anything. I thought DNS was going to be heavy and it was but there are some other areas that, didn't have big chapters in the book that were quite heavy also.

I use VMWare for my labs, its ace. I have installed a USB version of Linux that I boot up. Its really good but I haven't got a clue so I too wanna learn more about Linux. Would anyone recommend the CompTIA Linux +?

Me too mate. I've asked around and I think once my MS certs are done I'll go for the CompTIA Linux + because its vendor neutral and a lot of big firms want you to at least be able to navigate around Linux (which I cant do because its so alien to me)

You get used to it. Here's a tip - install it on a laptop at home. Ubuntu is a good choice to dip your toe in the water :)
