hi all i passed the 220.701 today with a score of 825/900 which aint bad i suppose anyways im doing the 220.702 next tuesday and will pass that then im thinking of doing the microsoft MCDST simply because im not gonna learn the N+ in time before end of december and the MCDST retires in march.i know the N+ can be used as an elective on the mcsa cert so would it be better for me to do all the exams on the mcsa then do the N+ last so its not wasted years of my N+ certification because it could take me a while to do all the MCSA exam, because i dont want to do the N+ exam now then in 3years time if it takes me that long to pass MCSA have to do it again?

    Thanks J

    Congrats!

    The choice is yours. However...

    1) It shouldn't take you three years to get the MCSA. If it does, I expect that the MCSA will be retired by then anyway.
    2) I believe that you can submit your CompTIA credentials to Microsoft anytime after passing your first Microsoft exam (but verify this for yourself on their Web site). Microsoft doesn't synchronize their records with CompTIA continuously, so I suspect that Microsoft would keep your Network+ pass recorded even if your certification were to retire with CompTIA.
