Finally, after more than two years since i started studying, I reached my goal. Exam was tough, with some questions i was a bit confused, and was not sure I was going to pass. I was lucky and got 745, but what does it matter, hey, I'm now MCSA!
For all of you interested the path i chose was A+, N+ (as electives), 70-210, 70-215 and 70-218. I took all the exams in about 11 months. I started studying with Scheidegger (big mistake), then when I realized i was going nowhere, I forked out another £1500 for CBTdirect's online courses, and that helped me pass all the exams. So in the end it cost me 3000 (Scheidegger)+1500 for CBTdirect=£4500, a bit on the dear side, but never mind, I'm happy now.

    Hi there,

Congrats to you and just out of interest, I'm going down the exact same route as you. I have already passed my A+, Network+ and 70-215 exams and will be taking the 70-210 exam later this month, with just the 70-218 exam remaining which I will take by June or July at the latest. That will give me the MCSA I'm after.
Once I have achieved this I would like to go for an MCSE. What exams do I need to achive this, and can I use all the exams I've completed to date plus others I will be taking for the MCSA?

    Thanks in advance

    Donn :biggrin

BTW I forgot to mention I got 745 in my 70-215 exam as well, what a coincedence. And yes it was a toughie.

    Greetings Donn,

Take a look here for the information you are after. You may want to pop over to the New Members Introduction Forum and introduce yourself properly.
