So i passed the exam today with the lowest possible score of 554 which im half annoyed :x half relieved  about. I used the Mike Meyers and Exam Cram 2 practice questions books.
I found the exams covered a couple of questions on things i had genuinely not read about in either book.
I seemed to have lots of questions on Linux and Netware which id be the first to admit arent my strong areas.
I had no questions on IEEE standards but quite a few on port numbers.
But all in all i passed and had i got a higher mark i dont think i would feel any happier or more confident to tackle networking problems.
The next cert i will work towards obtaining is the MCDST. (and looking for a new job)

Cool, congrats on the pass :)

I will say that all the questions comes from a pool, so it is possible that if you sat the exam one day later you would have gotten questions on other things :)

Well done matey. Got mine booked for a couple of weeks time. Will keep an eye out for those pesky Netware and Linux/Unix questions then. :dry

As others have stated, a pass is a pass and you don't get extra bonus points for high scores. Good luck with the MCDST as well.

Well done, mcbro. Like you, my weak area seems to be Netware/Linux related topics.
