Hi guys, I've just been offered my first contract and I need to enlist the services of an umbrella company.

One that looks likely is Parasol IT
    http://www.parasolgroup.co.uk/it/

Has anyone used them or heard what they are like?

    The fees are:
Weekly or Monthly fees of £25.95 or £61.95 - reducing with tax relief (done automatically via our payroll) to around £15.57 per week or £37.17 per month for higher rate tax payers.

    Cheers for any help

    Avoid - like the plague.

To paraphrase the Comic Book Guy:

    Worst.

    Umbrella Company.

    Ever.

I used them a few years back after moving from the last place I used - their support was dire, they regularly failed to pay me on time and screwed up my AGM as well into the bargain.

Used them for over a year, always found them helpfull and efficient, would use them again if I went contracting again.
