    Helloosy.

Outlook 2003 has got a decidedly awful option... if you right click the Outlook icon when it is in the system tray, you can select an option to hide when minimised. This is generating a lot of frustrated support calls by people that accidentally activate it then don't know what's happened to their Outlook.

Any way of permanently disabling it?

i know its annoying, but i dont know a way of disabling it, you can customize the bar to set it as "Always Hide"

i suppose you could try the following advice:

this would stop them from accidentally rightclicking on the outlook icon at all.
