ou. ousba? help please

    maybe wrong place to post but can any of you guys tell if ur not selected for funding for a course how does the ousba work. i mean does it go against you if ur credit is wrank.just curious thats all.

    A quick google suugests "OU Student Budget Account".

    Not sure what this means though

    it means if u get refused for funding u acn either pay in full or u can get the open university student bursary awards to pay it for u at an apr of 6.8% or free if u pay it offbefore ur course is finished. i was just wonderring f a person was to have bad credit with they still be able to apply.

    I have never applied for finance on any of their courses, I have always gone straight to OUSBA.

    Back when I did OU, it only cost around £300 per year.
    I'd suggest that the most economical way of funding is to try and save up a bit in advance.

    hey m8 and cheers. i may have been funded through the low income way,but if i dont get funded what way does the ousba work and does it go against you for having bad credit!!
